Sonae Sierra returns to profit in 2010
Portugal-based pan-European shopping centre developer Sonae Sierra returned to profit in 2010, posting net profit of E8.7m after a loss of E111m in 2009. The firm's net asset value grew, for the first time since 2008, by 1.8% to E1.25bn. The group attributed the improvement to its international expansion and increased operational efficiency.
