LaSalle, BGC set RE derivatives platform
LaSalle Investment Management is partnering with BGC Partners, a leading financial intermediary, to establish a property derivatives platform for clients. Despite a fall in volumes in 4Q10, RE derivatives are gaining popularity, and 36% of delegates at the IPD Quarterly Briefing in February said they would consider using them this year, the two firms said.
