Global mayors focus on new cycle, climate, urbanisation
Mayors and top executives of global cities at the MIPIM trade fair last week identified three new drivers of policy: the start of a new economic cycle, climate change, and the recent passing of the point where more of the world's population live in cities than rural locations. "The mayors wanted to talk about the new cycle, new approaches, new ways of thinking," said moderator Greg Clark, visiting professor at London's Cass Business School.
