Benson Elliot, GCI secure E138m Paris refinancing
Private equity real estate firm Benson Elliot and French private group Générale Continentale Investissements have secured E138m in refinancing for their Opéra portfolio in Paris, the only refinancing of securitised debt completed in France since the financial crisis. The new facility was provided by German banks Helaba and Aareal, and Crédit Foncier de France.
