Private equity RE fundraising at 8yr low
Private equity real estate fundraising totalled $5.8bn in first quarter, the lowest fresh capital inflow since 2003. However, four Europe-focused funds raised $1.1bn, and the number of interim closes suggests the drought may be nearing its end, according to private equity analyst Preqin.
