German open real estate funds own E94bn, widening reach
German open-ended property funds last year purchased 91 assets, 33 more than in 2009, and sold 82 assets, nine fewer, said German Investment Fund Association BVI, and by year end, held 1,650 assets with a market value of E94.3bn. Geographic diversification also widened.
