Berlin Brandenburg airport generates E440m financing
The operating firm for Berlin's new airport Berlin Brandenburg International has secured the E440m in internal financing needed for its construction, and by November should have a number of major features finished, ready for opening, says Berlin Airports CEO Rainer Schwarz. Current airports Schönefeld and Tegel last year hit record passenger figures - up 6.4% from 2009 at 22m.
