Gothenburg's Castellum doubles 1Q11 profit
First quarter net income of Swedish listed real estate firm Castellum more than doubled to SEK394m (E44.3m) or SEK2.4 per share from 1Q10 due to recovery and employment growth, said CEO Håkan Hellström. The fair value of the Gothenburg-based firm's real estate portfolio reached SEK33bn (E3.7bn), spread across office, retail, warehouse and industrial.
