MARKUS LEININGER, Head, Central European Property Lending
Eurohypo, Frankfurt
Eurohypo, part of the Commerzbank group, is the largest commercial real estate and public finance lending bank in Germany and Europe. With total assets of ¤229bn, it is a premier issuer of Jumbo Pfandbrief. Hr. Leininger joined predecessor bank Rheinhyp in 1995 in the international property lending department. He then set up the central European lending division, and operations in north America. Since July 2002, he has been responsible for lending business in central and eastern Europe.
