RICCARDO VENTURA, Vice President and General Counsel Europe
General Motors
Riccardo Ventura - born in Parma in 1964 - is the Vice President and General Counsel of Opel/Vauxhall. In this position, he has responsibility for all legal affairs of the General Motors group in Europe. Riccardo Ventura joined GM in May 2005 as General Counsel for General Motors Powertrain Europe in Torino, a position he held until he was appointed to his current position in November 2008. In this role he led the legal team advising the engines and transmissions division of the group in Europe. Before joining GM, he worked for 12 years as qualified attorney in Torino with national and international law firms.
