MICHAEL KRöGER, Head of International Real Estate Finance

With a workforce of 6,000 and total assets of ¤158bn, Helaba is one of Germany’s leading landesbanks – based in Frankfurt and Erfurt. The bank has a real estate lending portfolio of about ¤37bn. Hr. Kröger, a lawyer by training, has headed the international real estate finance team since 2011, moving over from heading origination for Northern and Central Europe. Prior to that he held a position at another real estate bank building the HQ-based Nordic Markets team. He later took over key account management.
