ING Real Estate Finance is an international commercial real estate lender and part of Dutch ING Group. Mr. Shields is MD and Group Head of ING REF, responsible for a real estate loan portfolio of over $6bn. Over the last two years he and his team restructured over $2.5bn loans. He joined the company in 2004, moving over from real estate lending group PB Capital, the former BHF Capital, where he was vice president responsible for originations and portfolio management of an $850m loan portfolio.
