Urban Land Institute Europe, LessEn
The LessEn initiative has been developed by the non-profit Urban Land Institute to encourage better energy efficiency and retrofitting in commercial buildings. Mr. de Jong works with ULI’s leading networks, initiative partners and LessEn community to enable individuals and organisations to achieve substantial energy reductions. Projects include developing building energy efficiency data, UK schools energy league table, energy case studies, the world’s first global energy map and building energy smartphone application. He prevously worked on a low carbon project for a London Borough, and spent over eight years in Australia advising businesses and community groups in their sustainability strategies.
